#DamBusters follows Spanish river restoration engineer and environmentalist Pao Fernández Garrido as she travels through five European countries to meet the river heroes proving that removing obsolete barriers can bring rivers back to life. From Spain to France, then Lithuania, Estonia, and Finland, Pao documents the human stakes behind dam removal, including communities, scientists, and practitioners fighting to restore fish migrations, biodiversity, and safer, freer flowing waterways.

Now the film is expanding its European reach.

For the first time, #DamBusters is being translated into 15 languages and shared across Europe to grow the momentum and excitement around dam removal, inspiring younger audiences to see river restoration as a real, tangible act of change.
